All the tweaks work. He is grounding the unit also. Give it a try even on non-Marantz players. They are CHEAP!!

      At Ace Hrdwr they had 1.25 Cu unions that looked like they were just cut from pipe. Maybe you could buy 1.5 pipe and cut to length with a hack saw? Sometimes, like wood moldings, you might be able to buy a short leftover piece. Might even be cheaper if you need quantity. Have any plumber buddies?
