It pays to use the search. Now how to turn that info into values for filter?300pf times 10 feet equals 3000pf. What size resistor(s)?

Keep the corner frequencies away from the audio band.
There may be a benefit from matching the cable impedance if you can measure it or calculate it. The Walker recipe of ten ohms is clearly too low to match most speaker cables, so it is possible he was trying to load the amplifier. Even if the resistor is not a perfect match to the cable, the filter will be better than nothing at damping internal cable resonances.
Oh ok, I guess I'm going over the top a little. I was also a bit concerned about the capacitance of the cables but they don't seem to make the Denon amplifier run too hot plus I have the outlaws in the lines and they barely warm up even with HT. I ordered extra resistors (and caps) in case I want to put a filter at both ends of the cables. So I can try more ohms. Thanks, that's the advice I was looking for---what's been tried. I appreciate the responses.

I used both 10 and 20 Ohm Rs and either worked fine.
