I resently picked up a bigger 2.5KV isolation transformer that I will be putting into Balanced Power mode.
I use Alan Maher PE and 193L choke, both run from live to neutral.
Will there be any issues when I switch it to Balanced power, as it will no longer be live to neutral, it will be live to live.
Thanks for any help.

... I asked a similar question
Alan responded that he preferred to use the more expensive 193M to go across 60-0-60.
Maybe his preferences have changed since then??

Thanks. I been running it balanced since yesterday.
I find there is a slight problem. I can't tear myself out of my listening chair, quite the nice improvement going to balanced! :-)
I send an email to Alan.
Cheers

I will try to keep positive, and put more ice in the cooler beside my chair. :-) If you don't see me posting anymore, please call 911 and tell them to bring more beer.
I employ multiple PEs and 193Ls and a BPT in my system and at various other sites in my house wiring and have had excellent performance. I also have a PE (don't remember the model) and a 193M on the primary side of the BPT.
I have been quite pleased with the addition of the PEs and chokes.
Alan has developed new PEs and other devices that go beyond the original line of PEs. You may wish to consult with him directly.
Thanks for the info, great to see they work well with Balanced power.
I see on Alan's website, he has a very good selection, much more than he used to.
I'll look into that more.
Thanks again!
