The WAPMC is designed to power TT motors with a proprietary AC regenerated signal but I found that it makes an incredible improvement when powering my CD player due to the input and output isolation transformers and the true AC regeneration.
It also had provisions for motor phase reversal and adjustable frequency output at ~80 hz which my CD player prefers over the ~60 hz output. It is rated at 25 watts max output but being built to Walker standards, I'm sure this is conservative.

    The WAPMC is being driven directly from the wall via an Oyaide R-1/WPC-Z/TEL wire PC and the CD player is then powered by the WAPMC along with the MPC.
    The UO was pressed into service mainly to facilitate the connecting of the 2 units to the WAPMC's output since it only has a single solo outlet.

      Hi.
      
      Never plug yr analogue gears (yr TT/motor controller) directly into the same powerline outlet sharing with any digital gears (yr CD player). Period.
      
      'Cause the RFI noises emiitted by a CD/DVD/Blu-ray player (whenever swithced ON) will go into the yr analogue gears via sharing the same AC outlet. I've actually measured an increase in powerline noise as such with a wideband powerline & EMI noise analyser.
      
      The proper way to stop this is to add an Oyaide duplex on to the WAPMC unit: one outlet point for yr TT & the other for yr CD player via yr UO, which hopefully can stop the RFI noises emitted by yr CD player into yr TT sharing the same Oyaide duplex.
      
      You should hear better sound.

        Maybe I wasn't clear in answering your query and while I appreciate the info, this is well understood here and if one were to read my system profile, it would be clear that the TT and the phono preamp have been removed from my system and the only source component is the CD player.
        
        When the TT and the phono preamp are implemented, they are the only source components and the CD player is completely removed from the system. In other words, in the big rig, there is only one source component hooked up at any one given time for the very reason(s) you site.
