In Reply to: RE: Does PE (Power Enhancer) help to improve video as well? posted by audionutge@yahoo.com on January 10, 2008 at 11:04:50
Thanks, Alan.
I have Sony SXRD 1080p TV. I don't know if it is calibrated to 6500K, but i used the calibrated disc from circuitcity when i bought the tv. Right now, my video system contains: TV, Receiver,Blu-Ray player, Panamax power conditioner, and a subwoofer. I guess i should try PE along with a Choke in this system again....
Follow Ups:
Plug the PE into the same outlet as the video components. Allow the PE 48 hours for the contrast levels to change. You should see added sharpness after 20/30 minutes, but it takes a good 48 hours for the contrast levels to change. I just replaced my Pioneer 50" plasma the other day for a Sony 52" LCD....the set looked good after the calibration (you will need to change the color temperature...have a ISF professional in to tune the tv), it looks great with the PE.

Great results. I have tried only one PE in the video system (installed it the wall outlet). Picture is sharper and (to my opinion) it has less noise! I am going to install another Hammond choke to see if it can improve more. By the way, should you recommend 193L or 193M?
Anyway, i like the result. I will order more PE since I need it for another video system (just purchased a pioneer plasma).
thanks for helping.
Michael.
Really...I just threw out a Pioneer plasma last week...picked up a Sony 52" LCD TV.
Are you asking me "should or would" I recommend a 193L or M? If it's "would" for video I would pick up 2-193M's and wire them into the same a/c male plug....very cool effect.
