Where to buy amplifier chassis for DIY?

Is there any place where I can find any nice aluminium chassis, if possible with an anodized face plate or any nice looking faceplate? I see Parts Connexion sell some hammond chassis, but I'm looking for something a little nicer.

If you want nice chassis, well you'll need to pay.

Try contacting Peter Daniel at www.audiosector.com, he always has great ideas and has a super preamp/amp chassis for $250.
If you can swing it with software to design your own chassis try Front Panel Express at www.frontpanelexpress.com

These are all much better than Par-Metal, Mouser, Hammond, etc...

I second Par-Metal for chassis. Not too long ago I enquired about custom punching of holes and they will do so at additional cost if you furnish a drawing.

Par Metal may have what your looking for. The 20 Series amplifier cases in custom sizes and finishes looks like a good place to start

Or maybe the 12 Series In a many sizes and different finish options

  I too was keen on answer to this.
  But those chassis are so old looking, reminds me of stuff from the late 1960's

    Try http://www.hifi2000.it/. I have purchased several chassis styles from them (including the Slimline and Galaxy Maggioratto enclosures) and have been very impressed. Not terribly expensive until you factor in shipping, but I'm very glad I made the investment.
