I'm not the authority here, but I have a little experience with this under Al's tutelage.
The cascade of cap values is on the order of ten (or tenths), but Al recommends highly that the largest value be that 10,000. Chris achieved that large value approximation by paralleling 3 x 3650 caps; Al informs me that the 10,000 value silver mica caps are now expensive to get ahold of, so that makes sense. (When I bought them, he had found them at surplus for pennies! Not anymore.)
So my silver mica caps, which work well, run something like 10,000, 1,000, 100 in value sequence.
The R value relates to the inductance (?) of your particular cable. Al posted the formula here a couple of years ago. But I've used other values and they still work, and those Walker Links appear to have one fixed value for all comers. So you can probably fudge on that if you can't figure out Al's formula or the inductance of your particular cables.

Thanks for the correction. Impedence, inductance, pretty soon you're talking about real issues! LOL
