Had the RD-2 and replaced it with the Talisman. The RD-3 will be arriving in the next few days, and I'll stack it up against the Talisman then. We shall see. The Talisman is definitely quicker and way more convenient, though.

How much of the AR stuff have you tried? I have used the QR-8 with very great effect which belies their small size, but they can kill the sound also. The PSA-100 silk works quite well within equipment also, but I have little experience with it outside components. The RR-77 Ultra Low frequency Pulse Generator is very strange. You can hear a benefit but it is very difficult to put your finger on what it is doing. If you remove it, however, you will want it back right away. Finally, the RGC-24 Ground conditioner is also a strange device. It is the most subtle benefit of all the AR things I have tried and there is great variations in its effect depending on where it is.
without and with the RR-77 low frequency pulse generator. By congested, I mean having lots of instruments being played together at the same time, so that the music sounds very complex and bunched together. This type of music may be a complex orchestra piece or just a pop band with lots of singers and intrumentation. Without the RR-77 in place you will find that it's quite difficult to flow with such a complex piece of music as the music may sound compressed. But with RR-77, the music becomes lubricated and more organic, clearly putting more definition to all the players and improving the clarity and separation of each music component. This I think is the best test of RR-77. Give it a try ;-)

I haven’t tried nearly as much as you—just the RIO-5 ionizer, RD-2, and ground conditioner. All of them yielded some nice benefits, the ground device, as you noticed, having the most subtle (though still audible) effect. I definitely want to try the RR-77. That’s next in line.
The webpage and its description of the unit does not tell you that what is important is the locations of the puck. I had it located under my linestage and connected to the line stage. Last night I relocated the puck to under the transformer of my Exemplar/Shanling sacd player. It is still grounded to the linestage, however. Now there is no question that its impact is enormous and that I need to get another for under the phono stage. My H-Cat P-12R line stage is the only component that is grounded to the ac ground.

I tried locating it under various parts of my Oppo CD player, with little effect, until I placed it under the approximate location of the transformer. Then . . . bingo. It all snapped into place. As they say in real estate, “location, location, location.”
