  Well, I thought I'd try some on my PCs. I'd like to try a composite sandwich platform made of 1" Gatorboard© as the meat and CF with the proper resin on both sides. I understand that CF can be very rigid

  I'd also try placing sheets on top of and underneath components with and with out a ground connection

  ...and if I can't come up with anything that works, I'll make a cover for my head to keep out all those voices that slip in with all this BS

      I hope you mean 1 yard! I don't even want to think about having to cut off 6 inchs, 1 foot or even 2 feet sections
      
      (not to mention how many pairs of scissors I'd go through)

        If you build one to use on power cords you will miss some of the most important points of the design and it can not be compared to the original one. Sorry, it will not work as well as the original one. It will work only like a bad copy.
