  And said that my message got lost in his spam. He thought off hand that it might be a cap going bad. He gets $60 to start which goes towards any work he has to do.
  
  Says he's four to six weeks out and will call me when he's ready to take my tuner. As it turns out, he's about 15 minutes or so up the road.

    Try a McIntosh dealer
    They were well trained to service the entire old line of tuners - MR- 71-78....
