system last night and was enjoying it! Was getting Long Beach State Uni. from South Bay San Diego.
I haven't used any of my tuners for a while now but decided to put the Charlie back in since my MR-80 is out for alignment.
Follow Ups:
I added an ST-2 antenna to my rig on the Sonoma Coast -
what a difference equipment can make-

Hey Cougar, did you ever restore the Fisher 200-B and include that in your rotation?
Hope all goes well. Not as much audio activity here, just getting too old. ;^)

Yes, I do use The Fisher 200-b, Fisher KM-60, McIntosh MR80 (needs alignment), and the Mitsubishi DA-F20 tuner (needs alignment).
I was focusing on other areas of my system lately. Also, they finally cut down the neighbor's tree that was in the way of my Antenna preventing me from pulling a good signal from LBCC 88.1 station and SDCC 88.3.
Those are two great stations, miss them both.
(and yes, I know I can receive them online, but I don't listen to my computer)

I can pull in KUSC (Classical) and some others that are around 120 miles away with that Antenna you gave me. The other station from TJ that plays Jazz, funk, and other different styles of music with good sound like the college stations. Riverside had a station like this about 15-20 years ago and sound really good.
Nice tuner, I resurrected this one from the parts or repair auction. Had a failed power supply, a 2SC2320 was in pieces and the zeners were toast. It piqued my interest because of its serial number "00003". That in itself was enough to put in the time for repair..

early Charlie's aligned by Mr. Bongiorno. Mine was done by him too.
Most don't know how to tell which ones were done by him. If it had Rack handles he did, if not...it was after he left SUMO.
The number I keep hearing is about the first 1500 units were JB aligned. When I was repairing this one I ran across the gentleman who had SN 0009. He helped me getting some of the voltages correct.

Great Tuner-
