$187 is not a bad price at all, I am considering it. I don't have the space to keep my machines on different shelves.
Have to see if a 25U rack can handle all 3 machines in one rack. I may have to go taller. The 909 is about twice the height of the 707s.
I actually have two 909s but one had both motor spindles bent during shipping to me (so claimed the seller) and I never received any compensation for that. I do have two replacement motors although not installed yet.
Follow Ups:
...you need to be careful with their stability. With a lot of weight at the top it would be wise to provide some additional support.
Shipping damage is, unfortunately, way too common, as some people have no notion of proper packing. Many of us have horror stories to tell. I hope you get your machine fixed... are you sure it is actually the motor shaft bent, not just the hub? I don't know how it is done on that model.

Well that's a good question actually.
What I can see that are slightly bent are the shafts that the reels mount onto. They wobble off-center when I spin the reel mounts. And actually I think I hear a bit of scraping noise when I turn the shafts by hand. And I do not hear that noise when I turn the replacement motors by hand.
I may end up selling the 4 units if I downsize to a south pacific island (philippines), whcih is a real possiblity in the next year or so as it is one way I can see to support my kid when he starts college.
I lived on Leyte for a while in the early 2000s so I know my way around there...
But I wish you best of luck there!
