My Sony APR-5003 came with no stand, and chances of finding an OEM one are about as equal as meeting the Big Foot. So I had no choice but to build one. After a lot of planning, plenty of metal cutting and working with a local powder coat guy I gut this one made, and I am very, very pleased with the result. The vertical pieces are color matched to my Avantgarde speakers.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
It looks first class----which is what I would expect----coming from you.
Did you see the news last weekend where someone in Colorado photographed Big Foot?
"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing, if you can fake that you've got it made." Groucho
price was reasonable and within reason compared to paint.
Paint can get high just getting the different colors needed, depending on the quality.
Which is less than my dentist charges for one simple filling. :) Especially since the red color is a two-part job, so I think it was reasonable.
I am now considering more jobs like that, for different decks. :) I already bought a nice Makita 14" cut-off saw. :)
