  He is one of the authorities on tape in general andSticky Shed Syndrome in particular.
  
  From my time in the studio, we occasionally baked tapes, but then used the just once to play back, then trashed them.

  I presume you know the results are unpredictable, as some tapes might completely fall apart during the treatment, and the improvement is usually fairly short lived - a couple of months or so.
