So you really honestly think that anything that measures the same will sound the same? Nothing else matters???

      Thanks for the tip regarding the "edit" button! I was looking all over the bottom of the page, the place where you would actually enter text, and of course it wasn't there.

    1) Yes indeed. I wear size 10 shoes. Some of them sound very different when I walk (rubber versus leather soles will do that)
    2) surely, correct measurements matter. Otherwise I would have to go through the trouble of trying on different sizes before knowing which ones fit.

      Two guys are sitting around the campfire talking about stereos when all of a sudden they hear a loud noise.
      "What was that?" one of them asked
      "I don't know", said the other, "How could I when I don't even trust my ears?" This proud camper was stumped. Yet, in his quest for objective measurements he went out into the darkness to get a closer look, wanting to record the noise with his cell phone and analyze it back at the lab once he got back home.
      The other guy from the group yelled, "It sounds like a bear! Don't go!", then got into his truck and shut the door.
      Curious measurbater never made it back to camp.
