I have a pair of Aurum Cantus G2 ribbon tweeter and according to the specification their impendance is 8 ohm. But their impedance measured with a multimeter is only 0.4 ohm. I don't know if it's damaged but there's sound when I measure them. Grateful for your advice please.

Thanks for the advice. I believe there's a transformer in between that's why the measured resistance is so low.
The tweeters could be wired with a 2nd order HP filter, which would put an inductor in parallel with the speaker and essentially you are measuring the inductor and not the tweeter.
Details: if R is the resistance of the tweeter and r is the DCR of the parallel inductor then the total resistance Z = r*R/(R+r) and since R > > r this reduces to Z=r.
To get the true resistance of the ribbon, you will have to disconnect the filter.

Is there a transformer in them? You may be measuring the resistance of the transformer primary, rather than the impedance of the speaker at audio frequencies.
