What's a "good" price for a pair of MG 3.6's in reasonable (7/10~ish) used condition?

common sense is not common
All depends on when they were originly sold. They were 3500+ new about 3 years ago now high 4's.
challenge any add that says 4900 new and get serial numbers...I bought a 3 year old pr with mye stands for 2600 3 years ago - sold them for the same
Great speaker good luck
Probably $2500-$3000 US would be a bargain if they are in top shape. Plus shipping of course. It will add up depending on whether they have the desirable characteristics and what the age is. Used Magnepans can vary from close to new to needing some TLC. It's not easily evaluated without seeing them up close and knowing what to look for.The good news is that almost all of them can be restored to like new condition. The bad news is that it takes some effort to do this.

Actually wasn't looking for "top" shape - closer to "reasonable" (7/10) - so maybe $2000 would be a good price?
very doubtful you'll find 3.6's under $3200-3400 in any condition.
3.5's 'might' go for around $$2500-3000; just from my observations in the past 12 months.
"IF" 3.6's show up under $3200; snag em'; they won't last quick.
YMMV-
