Just about anything but a contemporary receiver will do the trick. Many modern receivers have sacrificed 4 ohm capability as an economy measure, which makes them useless for driving not only Magnepans but many high end speakers. But older receivers, and virtually all separate amplifiers, will drive 4 ohms fine. So will some currently made receivers, you have to see if it has a 4 ohm specification, or, if it doesn't, if people have had success driving 4 ohm speakers with it.BTW, don't worry about the doubling power into 4 ohms business. Few amps do that. Peak power into 4 ohms is the spec you care about.

Does the Outlaw RR2150 need apply?
I think it even has some bass management features, which makes it attractive for a 2.1 system.
Too much is never enough
LOL It put out 190W continuous into 4ohms. I know I own it and Stereophile concurs with their measurements.
The Outlaw should do a very nice job.
