I have a Pioneer Elite A-35 r amp that is stable 4 ohm 65 watts per channel. I would like to consider the MMG. My room is small ( 10 x 12. I don't listen to rock concert level volumes but I listen to synphonys and jazz primarily. Does anyone think this might work in my room with the music I listen to? Thanks for your answers!

I have measured my panels while running, using a DVM and have not seen more than about 8vac go by......Even with say.....25% additional since the meter is 'slow', I'll give it 10vac, max on peaks.
If I call it 4.5 ohms, that is about 22 watts at 2.2 amps......or pretty close. If you assume higher resistance (impedance), amperage drops as does power. This was loud enough, for me, in a 4500cubic foot room.
Double and round up to 50x2 and you should be OK.
Your 65 should be OK.
Panels run out of steam a little different than dynamic drivers, so keep listening as you approach redline. Do it ONCE so you know what it sounds like.
I ran MG-1s on 80x2 of a Kenwood KA-7100 a long time ago, and it was fine. Darn thing ran warmer than the 12" 3-ways the panels replaced, but nothing wacky.
Too much is never enough
The Elite A-35 will be a good start. I put it that way because, as you get into it, you'll find most everything you do will make your speakers sound better. Things like placement, room treatments, stands for your speakers, a good stand for your equipment, various cables/wires, power conditioning, etc. Maggies, properly set up can be pretty revealing in a good way. Then one day you'll think "Hmm, these sound way better than when I got 'em, I wonder what a bigger/better amp will bring?".
If you leave here now and never come back, you will escape this fate. If not, it's inevitable. Too many good ideas floating around here ;^)
When I first got my MMGs I tried them with my little Hafler DH-120 that develops about 95 watts into 4 ohms. Wasn't really happy with the performance, but my room is about twice the size of yours and opens up into an area much larger. Bear in mind that I listen to lots of electric Jazz and fusion too.
It did work though, and I agree with the other comments that for your room size and listening habits you should be fine.
Thanks for all you comments. I've read a lot that Maggies need lots of power and I plan on upgrading amps in the future, but if it works with what I have now that's a good start!
NOT to say that a more powerful amp (of similar quality) wouldn't sound better. But considering your listening habits, you've got enough to start. Maybe never any need to go bigger.
Like Grant says. No mayor demands and you should be able to very nice sound, indeed. You can get more ambitious later.
Even at that power level they are also capable of providing some good imaging. Just make sure the other stuff is decent enough. Good cables, basic power conditioning, enough space around them, good player. I am not talking expensive, just common sense good. Ask around here.
As you start tweaking things -- again, ask around here -- you won't believe how great these little things can get to be.
You should have no problem
I can drive my 1.6qr Maggies with a tube amp in triode mode with 40w
Can play them two loud to listen to.

I am using a Pioneer PL - 514 table with Clearaudio Classic Wood Cartridge, TEAC A-3300SX reel to reel, and a JVC XL-Z444 CD player. I plan on getting a Musical Fidelity V-DAC and am currently using TARA Labs interconnects. Speaker Cables will be a good brand.
For sound, cost-value, different L&R lengths flexibility I echo Anti-Cables.
MUST allow 50+ hours burn time to sense what you've gotten; Don't pre-judge after 10 minutes.
For the speaker wire, great bang for the buck cables. Beat out my Tara Labs solid, Monster, Straightwire and another I had on hand (can't recall what they were) that I compared them to.

In that small a room I think you'll be fine. Will a better, more powerful amp do a better job even in that small room? Almost assuredly. But if you're a Maggie guy you'll have some great listening sessions I'd say.
