I doubt if they've 'never been used' probably more like 'stored correctly' since the feet are missing and they DO go in the box lol...anyway I wonder how they held up-

First, he wants way too much.
Second, 20+ years stored in a bag, inside a box and (probably) inside a closet? I would bet they are not speakers anymore, they are a bag of noodles...

It's all about the music...
That was my first thought when I saw the ad. These are in my area, but the asking price is too high for me to even bother checking them out. The problem with sellers who are not "in the know" about the issues old maggies can develop, is they don't realize they are selling a potential headache, and trying to convince that seller that the maggies are "past they're expiration date" would be tough.Besides, the guy said they "appear" to be never used, but they could have been used for many years, but just well cared for. When I bought my 25 year old IIc's, last year, they looked like they were just built. And after a year of use by me, they still look new (thank god the cats don't touch em).

then again the guy claims to be a professional mover; so I'm sure he's pretty familiar with gettin' rid of stuff by asking high, not taking too low and hopefully ending up somewhere in the middle.
Although I'm probably sure he'd take $30-50 after u brought over a cheap receiver and hooked em' up!

You could have them dropped shipped directly to Pennsylvania :^)
