    In fact, he confirmed your statement. Perhaps he bought what his dealer had in stock. Hell, it could have been a timing thing and those were what he could get in time to make a build slot. I hope there's a reason he spent an extra $400 - assuming his dealer didn't cut him a deal on the upgraded frames. Who knows? Well he does - maybe he'll tell us ;-)
    
    V hasn't posted that much. He's started four threads. Those threads became firestorms. Much of what has been posted (sorry to say) has been speculation and some has been downright delusional (again, I apologize, but it's how I see it). I understand the psychology of cliques. I also understand the overarching desire of those who have been his customers to rise to his defense - he championed your speakers; why should you not champion his cause? This is all perfectly fair and completely proper.
    
    It, nonetheless, continues to surprise me that nobody on your side of the fence (believe it or not, I'm not even in the stadium) has stated what I see as the one simple fact I see in this mess. It could have all been avoided if a certain contractor had communicated clearly with a certain customer.
    
    What bothers me the most is the attitude of the aforementioned contractor. I think that attitude is what prodded the continuation of this topic. If an absentee moderator (don't know - maybe he's deemed it fair game) has resulted in too much freedom of speech, then I'll volunteer my time to police the thread topics. Somehow I doubt that offer would be well received.

      before I applied for a build slot, but I always had in mind to mod them. I purchased cherry because I liked the way they looked and if I changed my mind about the mod, I had something I could live with.
