True
My son installed a new model radio, Sirius, etc that links to my i phone in one of my cars. Very nice to hear Amazon music playing stuff I want to hear instead of a lot of station seeking on the old radio.

Follow Ups:
Which used to sell two wiring harnesses for the Chevy Cobalt. The expensive one, which was about $100, maintained all existing functions. The cheaper harness eliminated the driver information center, which I can't do without.
Last time I looked at replacement car systems at Crutchfield, only the cheaper of the two harnesses was still available, and the price of the harness was increased.
If I could find a harness that maintained all existing vehicle functions, I'd switch. I don't really care about Apple Car Play, I don't listen to anything but the engine when I drive, but I'd love to be able to speak on the phone hands free.
Wiring in a stereo on a car with a CANBUS isn't as simple as the old days. If everything isn't done exactly right, it's possible that that car won't start, or the check engine light could be lit, or the turn signal sound could be eliminated, etc.
The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
