nu finish is a very aggressive liquid abrasive , glass might be hard enough to be undamaged with use, but I wouldn't use it on an automotive clear coat , because it is intended to be , and is marketed as, one of those I saw it on TV miracle products, where it really does produce results that other products don't .
That's because other car care companies don't want to sacrifice the clear coat for a quick result , and often offer a cutting compound product when abrasive corrective compounds are desired. like removing over spray off of a finished paint section.
