I'm not certain but I think the 416 is best mounted from inside the cabinet like the 604. You'll need to plan ahead and fashion a gasketed back panel.
Speaker cabinet work doesn't take long. Establish a flow chart, a written one and put it on the wall. You'll likely need to make changes as stuff happens but it's till invaluable in saving time on "I wish I had done that first".
If you use 2 thicknesses of baffle material to inset the woofer as shown, clamp them tightly together perfectly aligned and drill the center hole for the circle cut trammel through both at once.
