Actually this is the Altec 287 I want to give a try.

As the woofer section, I guess the Fertin's EMS B15EX still a very good for Altec 828 bass bin.

An Altec 287 in name only.

Who knows, it might be decent at 10% the cost of originals.

Might be even better with a real Altec diaphragm.
