I picked these up this week and wanted to get some more input if possible. They use a 15 inch woofer 6-1/2 mid(cone and an interesting mid horn. The horn is aluminum but the slat in the center is a fiber.
Like teeth the upper and lower are clamped to it.
sound is very good but i dont know the efficiency numbers.
found some info on another forum but thought I might get more here.
Thanks.

I guess these will be keepers. Its getting harder to find anything remotely hi fi out there. I had to work with the guys at the thrift store to get these out of the back room and into my truck.
45 dollars well spent.
Thanks.
I believe there was a Victor (RCA) company of Japan ( part of JVC) that made the LC1a type woofer. While it has the cone ( only available through RCA), it is not a Duo-Cone in principle.
Also the T-S parameters must be different for such a small box./
Nice speaker though.

of good vintage speakers from the 1970's to the 1990's. The same Kenwood model pictured there was on Agon about 6 months ago. Too bad for me the shipping from that Pacific coast region of Canada would have been as much as the price he was selling them for. Again a very good find and enjoy them! John
Think you struck gold... The woofer is a copy of the wonderful RCA woofer design by non other than Olsen himself. This JVC spks is also quite rare.. wish I had your luck.
Great find.....lucky man.
