That came out on LP and CD.
The CD is 16/44, no way around it, even tho it was recorded at DSD 256 !
I didn't see any DSD 256 Download available, that would be the only way to get the full resolution.
The last 3 Marantz SACD/CD Players upsample everything to DSD 256, but they are expensive.
They would upsample the CD to DSD 256, but that's not the same same as playing the actuallDSD 256 File.
The SA 10 is around $7000, the Ruby is $4000, the newest one $ 3000.
The LP might sound good, tho.
It's advertised as being "One of the Greatest Jazz Recordings EVER!"
Lotta competition for that, tho...

I am a big fan of his and have all of his CDs and SACDs except the rare ones priced over $300 on eBay. Misty is his most famous recording since the trio played at the Club Misty in Tokyo. The best sounding version is the limited edition 180 gram LP. I'm 77 years old and don't have a good understanding of the differences between all the resolutions so I appreciate your well written reply.

If you can still knock down Cherokee on the old Selmer I'd say you are more than occasionally lucid.
