Frank 1 is into using interconnects more expensive than the player ( his Oppo 205 review),. I have told you previously that Hired Fox has said all you need to know, in his final update.if you want excellent stereo only SACD then you should audition the SA-10,as for CD H.F. says the SA-10 is not as good as past Marantz reference spinners, so again go and audition the SA-10
for yourself, the only way you will ever know if you want to buy it. Do not rely on any review.

Nothing wrong w/ using premium cabling- Disbeliever.
Fantja Would you pay $2k a metre for interconnects to use with a $1299 universal player,IMO this is for those with more dough than commonsense.

I use them in my system because I also review items costing 50K or more. The cables and cords and also want to hear exactly what the unit is capable of doing. Reviewers use the best of what is available so we can hear exactly what the piece I am evaluating is doing and I am using them on the Marantz SA10 as well.
Are we indeed going to get a review of the SA10 in October?
Frank I - we are awaiting your review ?
You've been posting monthly for Frank to post a review. FRANKLY, give up :)
Laughing...
I sure hope so- airheadair
Coming from a guy who didn't know his player didn't have analog outputs.
Incorrect
Yes, I would at the least, match cabling to the price of the component.
The spinner is marked at $1299, match a pair of $1299 (ballpark) IC.
My other components are all top tier pieces.. In any event we used them also on the SA10 and Modwright UDP 205.
