It makes for a better read than a listen. I think it's a great sampler but as an album it doesn't do it for me. That said the recent material from practically all of those bands has been really high quality (listening to the Hazards of Love right now).
Hi Spirit'I was looking at that a few months ago when I was looking into The Hope Blister. Never did pull the trigger on either, as I am on a restricted music diet at the moment (tho friends are helping me out, temporarily). Hopefully I’ll be buying a few in the next little while.
Looks like a great line up of artists, with a few I have either not heard or heard of!
