Its a very synergistic combo! I was running it balanced and really liked the sound and the combo. However I unhooked it due to the heat the Liquid Platinum gives off. May be ok for the winter but not a long term player. Its a shame because it really did sound good.

I have a small Alex Cavalli headphone amp that punches above it's price class. The Liquid Platinum would seem to be on the same price/performance ratio.

It's probably a good thing that it runs hot.

  yeah it sounded great while I had it going and I didn't want to get hooked on the sound and have to ditch it in the summer.
