In my opinion, Head-Fi & Head-Case are predominated by folks who argue & obsess about silly performance descriptors, getting personal while doing it. I've never posted on Head-Fi. I'm on Head-Case once in a great while since it's largely about electrostats. There are some genuine experts there, but they behave like jackasses, too.

Yeah I have never been on headcase and yes there are some real douches on head-fi, at least there was one that was boisterous with no clue. you know, the guy who tells you what you are hearing...

Anyhow trying to help. Good luck on the L700.

  The good thing about people like that is that I learned that the music is primary & the equipment is secondary. I'm a music lover first. The gear is a means to an end.

    Thats a great lesson and one I often forget. Though now its pretty much done with the equipment and just the music to enjoy.
