Looking for headphone amp/ dac for my system. Would be nice to run without preamp but I also listen to vinyl more than digital, point for Mytek and Naim, not for Ifi. Waiting to get amp/ dac before getting headphones. These 3 are on my short list.

I have a Naim Atom Headphone version that Use with Hifiman Edition XS going balanced,also use some sennheiser HD600's they both sound great,I mostly use music from my NAS.

I'm currently using a Mytek Brooklyn Bridge as a preamp and DAC. It works very nicely for me.

I can't help with any comparisons, but I've had a BB for over 2 years now. Couldn't be more pleased with the unit. The DAC is very clean, as is the HP amp. I use it only for those functions, never tried it as a pre, but hard to see how anyone could go wrong. It's top notch in my book.

I use it balanced into Focal Elears or Senn 650s as a HP amp, otherwise I go USB from my laptop into the Mytek, and then balanced into my Mac 6900 int. Whatever you decide, good luck.
