I recently bought A Hifiman Edition XS Headphones,I'm just getting into listening using Good headphones because of the fact that I was pretty much gifted a Naim Uniti Atom HE. I really like the sound but there's one big problem,I need a longer cable for the headphones because of where the Naim sits compared to my couch. So what would be a good cable around 10' long that won't cost more than the headphones, thanks for any advice as I am new to the headphone listening experience.
Follow Ups:
Before you spend a lot of money on a fancy cable, I'd suggest you get one from Amazon -- they have a number of 10' options for $8 to $10, and you can return it for free if you decide its not good enough.
I recently bought a 6' Amazon extension for my HiFiMan Sundara's and can't detect any change in sound quality when used with the 4' stock cable ($129 on the HiFiMan website!) that came with the headphones.
But, that's just me. I know others are much pickier about cables. However, for $10, it might be worth the experiment, and if you don't return it, you'll have a spare!
Thanks for the info, it never even dawned on me to try amazon, will definitely check it out.
