You should really try headfi.org. If you're not familiar with the site it's dedicated to all things headphone related--phones, IEMs, dacs, amps, cables, etc. etc. Has reviews, comments, ads, a marketplace, and thousands and thousands of members versus what seems like a few dozen people here on audiosylum.
The site also has worldwide headphone meets in major cities such as NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco and others in the U.S., London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and others. I've been to six or seven of the yearly meets in Manhattan at major hotels such as the Marriot Marquis in Times Square. Many of the major manufacturers in the world have booths there and you can try out and listen to different items and discuss things with the owners and engineers. I've enjoyed these meets as much as the big stereo shows (remember those?).
My impression is that you are focused on FiiO, which is fine, but it's a big world out there and you perhaps could benefit from greater exposure.

You're right!
When I discovered FiiO, I also discovered IEM earphones with multiple drivers. I had no idea such things existed and I became fascinated. Then, FiiO came out with a flagship IEM earphone with a single dynamic driver and it sounded better to me than all the multiple driver models I'd purchased. I've bought so many FiiO earphones that I've pretty much reached my limit for buying IEM earphones. Therefore, I decided to buy a STAX headphone system and be done with it. Anyway, that's where I've ended my headphone and earphone buying adventure. After spending $5050 on a bundled STAX system, I feel like I've finally reached headphone nirvana. I know there are more expensive headphones, but my new STAX sound so perfect to me that I've decided I'll now concentrate on listening to music instead of headphones and earphones.
Thanks!

Stax makes earbuds apparently...

Cut to razor sounding violins
Yes, STAX makes earbuds. Actually, they're electrostatic IEM earphones. I was thinking of buying the earphone/amplifier bundle, but I'm undecided. I have so many IEM earphones now that I just don't think I need another pair even if they are electrostatic. Then again, I'm tempted.
Therefore, I think I'll go listen to my STAX headphones and enjoy some music while I contemplate the purchase. LoL:-)
Happy listening!
