I'd be very interested in having a listen. Thanks for the link to the review. The reviewer certainly was very effusive about them. Besting STAX earspeakers would be hard to do.

Follow Ups:
The reviewer makes the claim that they best all other stat 'phones in smoothness of delivery and "soundstaging". So I'm wondering if they are coloring the sound somehow. And are they accomplishing these feats with similarly low levels of distortion that other stat 'phones are known for ?
It all sounds too good to be true, if you know what I mean...
Positive Feedback publishes ONLY ecstatically enthusiastic reviews, with never a "but."
... they have pre-auditioned and already know they like?
Whilst avoiding the ones they know they already know they don't like ?

I had two reviewer friends who chose not to review every component sent to them. Each preferred spending the extended time evaluating gear they thought worthy of suggesting.
You're probably right--they only publish reviews of components they like. But this is also mostly true of Stereophile--yet Stereophile does note limitations of the reviewed components, and generally they include comparisons with other, similar products. In Positive Feedback, every component is perfect...
It does sound too good to be true. When I wrote that the reviewer was effusive, I should have written that he was gushing in his praise. Although I don't live by measurements, some could have been more convincing.
