I had a pair two years ago. I thought the sound was lovely, possibly some of the best warmest lf from any headphone I had owned. Alas, the weight and clamp were too much for me and they were uncomfortable over glasses. Passed them on to a younger family member with the cranial tolerance of youth. I think he uses them mostly for gaming as they have good spacial characteristics.

Phillips Fidelio L2 and I LOVE them! I purchased a pair of L1 previously and the L2 are significantly better than the L1. I would assume the X2HR's to be REALLY good. I say get them.. $90.00 is a good deal...
