But you might also use an actual subwoofer to energize the air in your room as well. I prefer to use a subwoofer because a "bass shaker" alone will merely rumble your bones through the seat of your pants...I've done this and it works great!
For subs, I recommend using the highest crossover setting (usually 150hz or 200hz so that you will feel the maximum amount of "air disturbance") while running the headphones full-range.
