IME, typical wire/cable burn-in tends to be 150 hours for most notable improvements, while mechanical break-in of a transducer is most likely driver dependent. A nice thing about headphones is a set of cans can be buried in a blanket or between two pillows while a burn-in track is played as a loop, at any volume level that won't put too much strain on the driver suspensions, or create too much heat via the voice coils. Otherwise, it tends to take just about as long to become familiar with the sonic signature of a make/model pair of headphones as it does for them to be affected by the first phase of meaningful burn-in/break-in, so patience may be a virtue in this case. YMMV

Thanks, Duster. For headphone break in, I just select Jango internet station on computer and play it 24/7 through my computer headphone system. EDM seems to work best.

My computer headphone system. Cavalli Liquid Carbon 2.0 and Cord 2Qute DAC with all Platinum Wywires cables. HD 800S with Wywires Platinum cable breaking in 24/7 for about 5 days.
