Have one set for audio upstairs and another for HT in family room. Should have gotten same finish since I later used part of the latter for upstairs. :)![]()
Follow Ups:
Absorbers in the corner and artful diffusers on the wall!Well done. What an improvement that makes. I did similar in my audio room.
The DIY tube traps are almost twenty years old. There are four smaller ones located in room rear. The improved bass linearity was both audible and measureable.
Big dipoles benefit from diffusion. Fake plants supplement the skylines and studio panels.

Oh absolutely! About 20yrs ago, I used Acoustics First absorbing panels, deflector panels and corner traps spread around all four walls. IIRC, live end, dead end.
I've not had a need for upgrade-itis since.
When the furniture arrives and all is functioning, I'll post pics. For now, it's a real shit hole. lol
Beautiful room btw.
Only one chair?
Seating for three - two person love seat and chair. Once had massive couch but that is long gone. :)
Good luck with the new furniture. I'd like to see the results.
