I was joking.
La Quinta is located in the Coachella Valley, within a now urbanized area between Palm Springs and Indio CA. That is significantly different than Joshua Tree which is a National Park and small community north of La Quinta.
Then it's not my place to be critical of anyone else who has a system they enjoy. But this one seems to be so misplaced for what audio hobbyists generally pursue that I don't understand why this character chose to feature it?

I only watched the first minute because if he'd really driven all through the Joshua Tree park he would have seen plenty of them. As such, I assume he's either not very observant or prone to exaggeration, all good reasons not to watch his vid :)
For those interested, joshua trees only grow above a certain elevation. That guy was at the lower south end, where they don't grow but if you drive up to the north end the altitude is higher and they are all over the place (except for the one from the U2 cover that died some years ago).

If he's happy with it, that's all that counts. But as mentioned by another inmate here, room seems WAY too small for that speaker. Yet, each to his own. Kinda reminds me of pics of small apartments in Japan where a giant horn loaded speaker takes up half the floor space of the room.

I'd like to say he chose poorly on his speakers, but more like chose insanely. Afraid he's compensating for something missing in the bedroom
