Balanced Audio Technology (BAT) moving manufacturing to California

Received a "moving sale" email this week from Music Direct for some open box and end-of-life BAT components, which said:

"Balanced Audio Technology is relocating its manufacturing operations from Delaware to California!"

Wondering what the backstory is behind the company moving from Delaware to California.

I have no way of knowing, but most people relocate to California because of the weather. maybe the kind of talent they need prefers California.

Toyota moved to Texas from California because they didn't like spending $30,000 a year for low level starting wages , where Texas is about two thirds of that for the same job. .

    Well, Soviet tech uses a lot of those heavy metals that are being plowed up. Someone has to haul them away. Victor simply sees a natural fit.
