you're speaking out of your azz..the post office is self sufficient;it doesn't use any taxpayers funds. what is the fine print, that you mention? this was ordered by congress in 1986.no other company in america has to fund that many years ahead..the fact of the matter is many companies aren't even funded a year ahead. the post office was ruined by the republicans from reagan on down, because they want to privatize it. next time you post, know of what you speak..nuff said.

Ok Einstein, here is a link to the their 2012 actual budget and 2013 plan, more years of losing money. How can you pay pensions when your living off of savings and selling products or services for less than cost…. http://about.usps.com/who-we-are/financials/integrated-financial-plans/fy2013.pdfYou can also read the CBO report on the USPS $46 billion in accrued dept but currently unfunded benefits.......
Also Just Google USPS Pension liabilities to see all the real reports, not Postal union and media talking points. Also I didn’t say they are currently getting TAX payer $$$$, but when they can’t pay their employees what was promised, they will ask for and get a taxpayer funded bailout...so read posts accurately and do your fact checking before getting vulgar.
Some more facts for you, during the Regan years, all the bills passed into law were generated by the Democratic House, led by speaker Tip O’Neill
To go even further, the USPS pension pre funding bill wasn’t passed until 2006...again under Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi
