I agree with your single-box solution and you are right, there's little out there that will PLAY your CDs and do all other things you want.
The NAD M50.2 will play or rip your discs onto its twin hard drives, plus offer streaming from Tidal, Qobuz, etc and internet radio. The only other similar box is from Metronome at several times the price.
Add the NAD M32 and you have MM /MC and numerous other analogue and digital options.
Both enjoy Stereophile's highest ratings. I use just there 2 boxes with.my Avantgarde Duo speakers. First class stuff.

Tell me of another piece of audio equipment that offers what the M50.2 does - at even double that price. And don't mention a non-audio product such as a cobbled together pc with non-high end software. Thanks I'd be genuinely interested.
You're asking the wrong question. If the Original Poster is indeed "Building a New System", why in the world would he want to store and play his Music on an outdated plastic disk, when there are Many other solutions (and I would not recommend a pc at all) that offer better Audio quality and convenience, at a much cheaper price than $4,000. Unless you are interested in Nostalgia and Luddism, I cannot think of a reason.

Read the OP's second para. He obviously wants to keep his CD collection and to play them. What else will offer what he wants?
You suggest Luddites (presumably including the OP and me) should be chucking out our disc stored music but that was said of LP collectors a few decades ago. Many regret doing that. Many now want to keep and be able to play CDs.
Please offer an alternative to what I've suggested rather than calling us Luddites. Brands and models that will play CDs and offer streaming services. Thanks
You can store your music digitally on other media than a plastic Disk. Why bother with old technology when you don't need to.. He asked for other options, I gave him a better one.
BTW - Vinyl was Analog - The comparison to it and CDs is not relevant either.
With respect your answer to the OP was a 2 box solution and it didn't allow him to continue to play his CDs. My solution met both his criteria.
If his CD collection is large, your suggestion to get CDs onto onto hard drives could cost as much as my single box. With the M50.2 he could at his leisure over a long period of time rip his discs at no cost.
Anything suggestion other than the Razberri Pi means instant criticism and derision. The only product that any poster is allowed to buy, use, or talk about on these forums.

I must say I have to agree with you. I made the suggestion of the Arcam CDS50 which I thought would fill the OP's quest of everything he was asking but seems to have been completely overlooked. I guess I don't have enough posts to be taken seriously?
As the O.P. never responded to any post... He probably just went out and Purchased your recommended "Arcam CDS50" .... And is now listening to it.Although for $1200, One could do a lot better for a lot less money...

Using the OP's guidelines, there are not too many options. Considering what the CDS50 can do, $1200.00 is a bargain! Maybe try researching the product or even better listening to it before making any conclusions like the statement above!

He's not necessarily asking for just a one-box solution. From the original post:

He didn't outright say that he must have a one-box solution. Separates are an option here.
The OP also said, "What are my options? Thanks in advance. " Which I take to mean he is open to both one box or separate options. Or, he mmentioned he has not found many one box options which could lead one to take that he was looking for further one box options. But since no further feedback from the OP I suppose we will never know for sure and have to do our best. I haven't read anything suggested here so far that wouldn't be viable either way.

The 8006 is a one box option as well the Vault
The NAD M50.2 would require the addition of a DAC.
I can't remember if the Innuos has a DAC. My friend has the Zenith but it only has 1TB HD. So I wonder if the person who made that suggestion has a special order or features have changed, as they mentioned having a 2TB HD.
I'd like to know the associated gear the OP would be using with this new digital front end.
Can be ordered with up to 8 terabyte hard-drives. I ordered mine with silver faceplate and 2 terabyte,for downloading a considerable CD library.
Really chosen for its simplicity of use, flexibility and most of all smooth analog like soundquality, perfect match for my Lampi.

Thanks, I missed that back when researching that you could get larger HD. That and not having their own app moved them down on my list. I spoke to reps at Axpona and they are working on an app that was to be out by year's end.

This is my last post to you on this topic...There is so much mis-information in your posts, that I don't want to expend the time to educate you. You clearly do not know what you are talking about. You can start by reading AbeCollin's Post, and then digest what he is saying, rather than continuing on.
But remember this, if you don't take the time to understand the newer technology, it will be you that will lose in the long run.
