Hi!
I have three ways loudspeaker and can be Tri-amping and Triwiring
What do you think use Gotham 54240 for all or
58025 all the way?
How about a mix?
54240 for tweeter and midrange, and 58025 for the bass only?
Thanks!
Follow Ups:
As I've built SCs from both of these from bulk, the 58025 is the smaller gauge compared to the 54240. Where the former should ideally be placed onto the tweeter | mid-range binding post as smaller gauged cables are made to produce speed, whereas thicker gauged wiring is more about low end impact, and if used the other way around can come across as weightier, but with slowed transient attack of notes.
As my speaker is three ways system and crossover 2.5K and 500.
Since I would use subwoofer and crossover at 80Hz @24db
Would both Two different AWG behave the same above 80Hz?
As someone whom used to sell Linn | Naim gear from 1984-92, and was accustomed to the sound of tri-amped ( Naim 6 pack ) Linn Isobariks or Naim DBLs as shown below:

I'm basing this on the fact at the time, our shop only used either Naim or Linn SCs, which were essentially around 14AWG wire, yet this was in fact an active system, without subs, of which I personally never bought into the concept of using them, being as I'm a mini-monitor lover whom can happily live with mid-bass reaching between 50-45-40 Hz, if done correctly, yet am aware different thicknesses of wires respond to certain frequencies within the audio band, hence always viewing smaller gauged wire as more responsible for the highs | while larger wires are more adapt towards mid or lower bass definition.
As I read into it, like tube amps with real power | speakers with true low-end bass response cost upwards of $10.000 or more, hence the reason I've seen many with less costlier speakers using subwoofers, as cost itself is the limiting factor, no!.
Just doing the numbers here, yet once again can't speak on subwoofers or crossovers and the likes, sorry maybe someone else will chime in with more experience on said setup details?.
I'm a Gotham fan. I like the mix option. I don't know what guage/model (one of their thickest) I'm using on my woofers but tough stuff to solder on to terminals.
I use their power cables in a couple of different gauges as well. Good bang for the buck and very well made.
Triwiring (or Bi) is a waste of money and the same for multiamping, unless you go to active (ie line-level). So save your money on cabling. For more details look up articles by Rod Elliott at Elliott Sound Products.

I'm thinking to use miniDSP Flex HTx as digital line crossoverfor Tri-amping and subwoofer. However, I will leave the passive crossover in the speaker for comparison, and see whether removal is necessary.
