It can be, but the biggest voicing parts are the opt's and coupling caps
this gives the Audio Note signature.
Do you have a link to the inside of the Jinri?
Or do you mean the Jinro?

I meant Jinro (althoug I could swear I saw booklet or just a page with description and the name Jinri ;). I never saw insides of that amp althoug I had a chance for extended listening session. In the despription was stated that its a transformer coupled amp with standard level of components which means that there are no BG's , Cerafines , silver wires ,tants etc.
I do agree that what seems to set AN appart from other brands is quality of transformers and to lesser degree caps. As to the caps ,damn I like those cent a piece green mylar ERO's. I had kit 4 PP amp stuffed with those and enjoyed it a lot.Regards
PS. I read here years ago that fully tricked PQ signature kit One with C-Cores compares favorably with production standard Meishu amp.I'd rather thought it should be light years ahead in sonics looking at the gap in components quality.
Dear Wojciech,
Just so you know, the JINRO has 1 watt tants, IHiB c-cores in driver and output transformer and Cerafines in critical places, this insures uniform voicing between the JINRO and the upper models, the TOMEI and ONGAKU.
I have used the little green EROs since the late 1970s when they first came to my attention and they are what made us reinvestigate mylar as a dielectric when the paper because unusable due to changes in chemistry in the copper caps a few years ago.
Components content is not everything, without careful voicing a circuit with a mass of expensive, but as an ill-considered combination, parts can easily sound worse than a similar circuit with well matched cheaper parts but where care has been taken to create "good" voicing.
This is where the art and craft making good sounding products is buried.
Sincerely,
Peter Qvortrup
Dear Peter,
Given your statements, I think that we would all benefit from some kind of road map of upgrades.
What would be suggested upgrade path for DAC 3.1?
What about the L3?
What about interstage monoblocks?
Kind regards,
Bohun
Dear Peter
I'm glad that you still find the time to read the forum and continue to rise the "standards" of your equipment.I found Jinro sound and the company of Dave Cope most enjoyable, although it also encouraged me to further investigate horn speakers based on vintage alnico drivers as a better option than robbing a bank ;) Times are getting tough again so I wish you a big pile of silver and copper aging on the yard of your factory.
