...minor ones, that is. But enough to light up a Philips test screwdriver. All started when I was troubleshooting the right 300B that wouldn't light up in my Kit1. Found out a loose solder on one of the hardwired boards. Then after putting back the cover, time to fire up the One, I felt a slight shock on my fingertips when I reached for the volume control.
I tried searching for similar incident in this forum, but could not find any.
Any help is certainly most appreciated.
Thank you.
cheers,

Found out that there was a faulty power cord connected to the power conditioner, threw away the power cord since. Apparently the power cord caused the components connected to the conditioner to go ungrounded. I am enjoying music all over again :)...
Now, where are the monos ...

One possibility is that the mains earth is not reaching the amplifier and therefore the chassis is not being grounded. I would do a quick circuit test on your mains lead to start with.
Failing that, review all earthing within the unit and make sure that you have tightened up the earth lug correctly etc.
Found the problem to the shocks. There is a faulty power cord that is connected to the power conditioner, and for some reason resulted in the Kit1's chassis giving out the very minor electric shocks. All's well now, and listening to music again...:)
Thanks.

Thank you. Will do a circuit test on the mains, and update later.
