Hi, how you doing? Which ones was it, the MMGs or the MG12s ?
I miss them too, and have been tempted to get Maggies again if my Tannoys didn't sound and look so lovely.
As for Larry, we parted ways years ago when he didn't like me starting to buy on Audiogon. What's the name of the place in Miami ?

It was the MMGs, they were great but once I had kids I needed something a bit more traditional. I can remember one specific listening session where I had them playing through a 45 wpc El34 amp- it was underpowered and dynamics and control were lacking, but the purity and tone through the midband was like I have never experienced. Unbelievable.
Anyway, hear you on Larry. The place in Miami is called Reflections, the guy there is awesome and his shop is even more a step back in time than Hollywood Sound. He was honest and fair. http://www.reflectionselectronicspro.com/
The midrange and the transparency of Maggies is unequaled by most box speakers, but they do have other drawbacks.
