At least the 12AU7s in a pre amp I had made in Canberra by Turner Audio.
I use Herbies Halo tube dampers and like them very much.
The pre sits on a TipToe/Soft Shoe combination (point up) then a simple homemade platform of veneered mdf (top) with a plain mdf base. Inbetween is PE foam. UNder the platform are more cones, points down.
I find this works pretty well.
I might try simplifying the arrangement soon as I think I might reap some benefits less than 3 soft layers, but that is for a quiet weekend.
