After you've screwed and glued the box together, run a bead of Gorilla around the periphery of the inside along the bottom panel and up the corner joints. This will "caulk" the joints and prevent sand leakage. Be careful, gorilla glue expands about 2 fold during curing. A little dab 'l do ya.
