Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
Hi there,Any assistance would be greatly appreciated: I have a Denon TU-260 tuner -- semi-classic, great performance for the money.
Problem: if mains power is switched off for more than a short period, the tuner presets will be lost. Anyone know where the presets are stored, and if there is a backup battery or cap that might need to be changed?
BTW: the usual basic tweaks -- Schottky recitifier diodes, better power caps, worked wonders on the Denon. No doubt the caps were due for renewal. No if only I can get it to retain the presets :)
Thanks,
mb
